Engine block

The automobile engine block is the core structural component of the engine, serving as the "heart" that provides power. Its combustion chamber is typically made of cast iron. Tools made of PCD/PCBN superhard materials are employed for machining—PCD face mills enable high-speed, high-precision milling of aluminum alloy engine block surfaces, while PCBN face mills achieve high-speed, high-precision milling of cast iron engine blocks, resulting in excellent surface roughness. PCBN inserts are used for the fine boring of cylinder bores, offering high speed, high efficiency, and high stability.
