PCD Countersink Cutter

With the extensive adoption of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced polymer) composites in aircraft for weight reduction, the PCD Countersink Cutter is suitable for machining the conical surfaces of rivet holes in this material, enabling high-precision countersinking operations. To guarantee concentricity with the datum hole, the tool features two designs: one with a fixed guide pilot and another with a detachable guide pilot. It is mainly used for countersinking rivet holes in aircraft skins. Thanks to the excellent wear resistance of PCD material, the tool life is dozens of times longer than that of carbide countersinks.
